Some doors should never be reopened…
TERROR FILMS RELEASING (TFR) has teamed up with writer/director Joshua Hernandez and co-director Pammy Esquivel to bring their chilling found-footage horror film, The Wicked Hour, to streaming audiences across North America on November 27, 2026.
Starring Delaney Miller, Keelen Lewis, Isaias Homeyer, and Rossi Rodriguez, The Wicked Hour follows a young woman who returns to her haunted childhood home alongside a documentary film crew. What begins as an investigation into her terrifying past quickly spirals into a nightmare when the group discovers an evil book that unleashes a sinister force, possessing them one by one…
Inspired by a childhood experience that left a lasting impression, Hernandez set out to create a film that would place audiences directly in the middle of the terror.
Hernandez shared the inspiration behind the film:
“When I was younger, a couple of friends and I visited a haunted house attraction. I remember being terrified before we even stepped inside. Once we entered, that fear kicked into overdrive. It felt like I was trapped inside a horror movie, never knowing what was waiting around the next corner. But despite being scared, I also felt this incredible sense of excitement and happiness.
That experience stayed with me for years. I made The Wicked Hour because I wanted to recreate that feeling for an audience. I wanted viewers to feel as though they were trapped inside that attraction themselves, where danger could be waiting around every corner and behind every door.
My hope is that audiences experience that same combination of fear, excitement, and unpredictability that made that night so unforgettable to me.”
The doors open November 27th, 2026, when TFR premieres The Wicked Hour across multiple streaming platforms, including Tubi, Chilling, The Roku Channel, Fandango at Home, and more. Check out the official poster and trailer below.
