KAT CRIME: TALES OF THE OCCULT
Premieres on TubiTV March 8

Supernatural Crime Thriller Examines the Dark Side of True Crime Culture and Online Fame Los Angeles, CA – Cinema Epoch announces the streaming debut of KAT CRIME: TALES OF THE OCCULT, a psychological thriller directed and written by Jerry Artukovich (The Golden Bachelorette).

The film premieres on TubiTV on March 8, followed by expansion to additional digital platforms.

An aspiring true-crime YouTuber investigating an occult-linked disappearance gains exclusive access to a reclusive witch coven—only to discover that belief itself may be the most dangerous weapon of all.

Blending investigative suspense with ritualistic mysticism, the film explores two modern obsessions: the hunger for online relevance and the seductive danger of believing you are finally getting the opportunity you deserve. As ambition collides with ancient belief systems, the story examines how digital storytelling can morph into manipulation, obsession, and psychological descent. Early critical response has praised the film’s unsettling tone.

CineDump called it: “A sharp, eerie little thriller that digs its nails into two modern obsessions: the hunger for online fame and the seductive danger of believing you’re finally getting the big break you think you deserve.” The film stars Christina Colgan, Kyla Nova (Grey’s Anatomy), Brady Reiter (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Cameron Meyer, and Trevor Stines. Produced by Jerry Artukovich, Scott Hamm Duenas (A Christmas Gamble), and Kipp Tribble, the film features cinematography by A.J. Marson, editing by Jackie Brodeur, and an original score by Darren Geare.

As tension builds through quiet conversations, loaded rituals, and escalating psychological control, KAT CRIME: TALES OF THE OCCULT shifts from slow-burn unease into a full ritualistic nightmare—delivering an atmospheric thriller that lingers long after the final scene.

Cinema Epoch also has the horror opus DARK PLACES by Geno McGahee now in release, along with Jamie Grefe’s BIGFOOT PRIMAL ENCOUNTER, both currently streaming on TubiTV.
