Canadian produced horror-comedy Todd & the Book of Pure Evil has had an interesting run. The series, which was originally a short film then optioned for serial treatment, focused on a group of high school students as they worked, to hysterical ends, to defeat a book comprised of pure demonic evil. A first season aired in its native Canada and a second was picked up for US release by now defunct Fearnet. Although a third season failed to get made, crowdfunding was able to bring an animated feature to fans in December 2017. Now, as luck would have it. Horror streaming juggernaut Shudder is airing the episodes as an exclusive Shudder series. With Shudder’s irons in the fire multiplying at a fantastic rate, does this mean a revival might be around the corner?
