Scream for Summer is a throwback to the 90’s Self Aware “WHO DONE IT” horror films like Valentine, Scream, Urban Legend, and I know what you did last summer. The film is directed by Cheyenne Gordon and produced by Studio 605 who also produced Campground The Requel and The Wicked One. Cheyenne’s love for Kevin Williamson and Wes Craven is evident with this film. The film uses those familiar tropes to hopefully shock audiences by the third act of the film and big reveal.
Synopsis: After graduation, Sam Willis and her friends have one thing on their minds and that’s making as many memories and spending as much time on the lake for their last summer together. But when teenagers start being killed by a masked killer, the group find themselves fighting to survive!
The film stars Mary Watters (The Wicked One), Alicia Clark (The Hospital, Kill Granny Kill), and Roman Jossart (Don’t F*ck in the Woods)
The film premieres Thursday October 19th and then will take to the Festival Circuit.
