It’s hard not to get excited about the follow-up to 2014’s Godzilla. With last week seeing the release of the teaser and now the full trailer eeking its way out of Comic-Con, my little kid sensibilities are absolutely lighting up as I am getting very VERY excited about the desire to turn Legendary’s hit into a full fledged world building franchise. This is wish fulfillment cinema at its purest. With Millie Brown, Charles Dance, Vera Farmiga and a truly impressive cast rounding out the street creed for this, it was truly a shock to see kaiju heavy hitters mothra, rodan AND King Ghidora, WHICH, makes us wonder…what could they be holding back from us? I, for one, can’t wait to find out!
