HALLOWEEN ENG: Virtual Pop Duo Milo Sarre & Anouk Revel Bring Halloween to Life with AI-Powered Music

Halloween might officially be over, but apparently nobody told Milo Sarre and Anouk Revel.

The fictional virtual pop duo is keeping spooky season alive with HALLOWEEN ENG, a 14-track English-language album blending pop, dance music, seasonal imagery, and artificial intelligence into an unusual multimedia experiment.

Released November 1, the project is the creation of Brussels-based writer and artistic director Christophe Boeraeve, working under the name Chris Beaurêve. While Milo and Anouk may look like a pair of rising pop stars straight out of a Halloween-themed romantic fantasy, there’s a twist: neither performer actually exists.

And that’s precisely the point.

A Halloween Album with a Digital Twist

At the center of HALLOWEEN ENG is a concept that feels increasingly relevant in today’s entertainment landscape: virtual artists performing music created through a combination of human artistic direction and generative AI.

Boeraeve writes the lyrics and oversees the project’s creative direction, while AI music platform Suno provides the generated music and singing voices. Logic Pro is also used in the production process, with AI tools contributing to the accompanying artwork and music videos.

The result is a fictional musical universe built around two digital personalities, complete with their own visual identities, companion websites, and music releases.

Rather than presenting AI as an invisible production tool, the project openly embraces its synthetic performers as part of its identity.

Pumpkin Night Keeps the Halloween Spirit Alive

One of the album’s featured tracks, “Pumpkin Night,” brings the project’s seasonal concept to the forefront.

The accompanying music video extends the virtual duo’s world beyond the album itself, combining the characters with Halloween-inspired imagery.

For horror fans who enjoy the atmosphere of October as much as the scares themselves, the project offers a different kind of seasonal entertainment. Think Halloween playlists, glowing jack-o’-lanterns, late-night parties, and a little digital make-believe.

The album also has a French-language counterpart, HALLOWEEN, featuring the corresponding track “La Nuit des citrouilles.”

The English-language video introduces audiences to the virtual duo’s Halloween world.

Fans can also watch the French-language companion video, “La Nuit des citrouilles”.

Where Does AI Fit into Horror Entertainment?

Artificial intelligence has become an increasingly visible—and often controversial—part of creative production, particularly in independent film, music, and digital art.

Projects like HALLOWEEN ENG raise interesting questions about what audiences expect from virtual entertainers. Can fictional performers build a genuine following? Does knowing that a voice is artificially generated change the listening experience? And how much of a project’s identity comes from the technology versus the human directing it?

In this case, Boeraeve is transparent about the production process, identifying the fictional nature of the performers and the generative tools behind their music and visuals.

Whether audiences embrace virtual pop stars or prefer their Halloween music performed by flesh-and-blood musicians, the project represents another example of how independent creators are experimenting with emerging technology.

And considering horror’s long-standing fascination with artificial life, manufactured identities, and the uncanny, there’s something rather fitting about a pair of digital performers celebrating Halloween.

The complete 14-track album is available through major streaming platforms.

For those interested in learning more about the production, the project’s official press website offers additional background, artwork, and information about the virtual artists.

Halloween may only come once a year, but Milo Sarre and Anouk Revel are making a case for keeping the pumpkins glowing a little longer.

And who knows? Perhaps the next Halloween pop sensation won’t need a recording studio, a tour bus, or even a pulse.
