New independent publishing imprint debuts October 20 with an erotic horror novel and a mission to champion extreme horror, transgressive fiction, and uncompromising creative freedom.
After years of championing independent horror filmmakers, writers, artists, and creators, Horror-Fix is officially entering the publishing world. Today marks the launch of Horror-Fix Publishing, a new independent imprint dedicated to bold, provocative, and boundary-pushing genre fiction.
Leading the charge is Holy Trinity, the debut release from the imprint, written by KC Price and available today in Kindle and paperback editions through Amazon.
The first installment of The Trinity Van Buren Sexcraft Chronicles, Holy Trinity introduces Trinity Van Buren, a young woman whose arrival at Holy Secret University draws her into a hidden world of ancient rituals, forbidden desires, secret societies, and an increasingly unsettling connection to forces that may have been waiting for her long before she arrived.
Blending supernatural horror, dark fantasy, occult fiction, and explicit eroticism, Holy Trinity explores desire, identity, power, and the sometimes dangerous consequences of discovering exactly who—or what—you are.
The novel also serves as a statement of purpose for Horror-Fix Publishing, establishing the imprint’s commitment to giving writers the freedom to tell stories without unnecessary creative restrictions.
A New Home for Horror Without Compromise
“Independent horror has always been at its most interesting when creators are willing to go somewhere they’re not supposed to go,” said Horror-Fix founder Ash Hamilton. “That’s what we want Horror-Fix Publishing to embrace. We’re not interested in asking a writer to make something less extreme, less sexual, less strange, or more comfortable simply because that’s easier to market. If the story demands it, we want them to have the freedom to go there.”
That philosophy places Horror-Fix Publishing firmly within the more challenging corners of genre fiction, including extreme horror, erotic horror, transgressive fiction, dark fantasy, and stories that refuse to fit neatly into traditional publishing categories.
Rather than approaching provocative material as something to be softened or sanitized, the imprint intends to celebrate the creative independence that has long defined underground horror.
For Horror-Fix, which has spent years supporting independent genre creators through news coverage, reviews, interviews, and original productions, the move into publishing represents a natural evolution.
The goal is not simply to cover independent horror, but to become an active participant in bringing new voices and unconventional stories to audiences.
Protecting the Authors Behind the Stories
Another cornerstone of Horror-Fix Publishing’s mission is its commitment to protecting the identities of writers who choose to publish under pseudonyms.
The imprint recognizes that authors working in sexually explicit, violent, or transgressive fiction may have personal or professional reasons for maintaining a separation between their creative work and their public identities.
“For some writers, a pseudonym is part of the creative identity,” Hamilton said. “For others, it’s a practical necessity when they’re writing sexually explicit, violent, or transgressive material. Either way, we’re interested in the work. Authors shouldn’t have to choose between exploring something creatively and protecting the other parts of their lives.”
Horror-Fix Publishing believes that authors should retain control over how much of their personal lives become part of the marketing and promotion of their fiction.
The emphasis, ultimately, remains on the work itself.
Horror has always offered storytellers a place to explore subjects that other genres frequently avoid: sexuality, violence, obsession, trauma, taboo, identity, mortality, and the darker corners of human experience.
Horror-Fix Publishing intends to preserve that tradition by offering writers a home where challenging material is approached as an opportunity for storytelling rather than an obstacle to publication.
Holy Trinity Is Only the Beginning
While today’s release of Holy Trinity marks the imprint’s official debut, Horror-Fix Publishing is already looking toward its next chapter.
The publisher is preparing its second release, Blood Lust, written by another contributing Horror-Fix author. Additional information about the novel, including its author, storyline, and anticipated release date, will be announced in the future.
Further titles and opportunities for writers interested in working with the imprint are also planned as Horror-Fix Publishing continues to develop its catalog.
For Hamilton, the launch represents another step in expanding Horror-Fix beyond its roots as a horror entertainment website and into a platform that actively supports the creation and distribution of independent genre entertainment.
“We’ve spent years talking about the people making horror,” Hamilton said. “Publishing gives us another opportunity to actually help make it.”
With Holy Trinity now available to readers, Horror-Fix Publishing begins its mission of making bookshelves a little more dangerous.
