TERROR FILMS RELEASING has teamed with director Zac Kingto release his found footage horror film, “Jim’s Room”.
Starring King and the film’s writer, Michael Masurkevitch, the film follows Jim, a homeless man who must face his demons to escape the perverted sadist who films him in a remote house under the pretense of offering him a job.
King shared his thoughts about the making of the film:
“”I’ve always had so much love for the found footage genre, with films like 2014’s Creep and the OG Paranormal Activity being huge influences in how we went about shooting everything.
We wanted to tell a fictional story with Jim’s Room, but this is a very real issue.
Jim may not be real, but there are people on the streets and there are others who want to take advantage of them.
This film is dedicated to Michael (Masurkevitch)’s personal friend Jason. He suffered from homelessness for years, and passed away shortly before we shot this.”
