V ROCK HORROR FILM FESTIVAL 2023 RECEIVES SUBMISSIONS The Rock Horror Film Festival, which mixes cinema and rock & roll, is in its fifth edition and receives films until October 5th. The festival, produced by Sin Fronteras Filmes and directed and curated by filmmaker Chrys Rochat, screens national and international films in the genres: horror, suspense, fantasy, sci-fi and animation in the categories Sinister Features, Bizarre Featurettes, Macabre Shorts, Stranges Docs, Creepy Animations and Pills of Fear. The festival also features genre cinema workshops with leading professionals in the industry, round tables with artists and directors and rock concerts. In previous years, the festival had its editions at the Reserva Cultura Niterói and São Paulo cinemas, Cine Laura Alvim and Cinemateca do MAM and in the two years of the pandemic it had its online version at Festhome and at the Reserva Imovision Platform. The locations of the 2023 edition are still to be announced, but the production says it will be hybrid.
