Part live concert, part documentary, and all-out audiovisual trip, THE DARK FANTASTIC, dives deep into the world of cult British composer Simon Boswell — the man behind the soundtracks of over 150 films that reshaped horror, fantasy, and underground cinema.
If you’ve ever fallen under the spell of a synth-drenched score, felt the pulse of punk in a film’s heartbeat, or been transported by the music more than the movie – this is your jam.
From his early work with Dario Argento on Phenomena (1985), Boswell’s sonic fingerprints have been all over the weird, the beautiful, and the unforgettable. His music spans across genres: horror, fantasy, thrillers, action, video games, drama, and more.

The film was part of the 2025 Ravenheart International Film Festival’s Official Selection and has recently been chosen as part of Raindance Film Festival’s Official Selection. Director Lg White has also been nominated for the ‘Best Director In a UK Feature‘ prize at Raindance Film Festival.
