Tearful Surrender is a dark, poetic, psychosexual onslaught of morbid eye candy, with titillating and complex characters, bizarre and abstract scenery, and gory erotic surreal situations (many of which involving necrophilia, succubi, witches–something we don’t see enough of these days!). It will make your heart melt, eyes widen, and mouth water.
The Writer/Director of Tearful Surrender, Cassandra Sechler, has just launched the crowdfunding campaign for this unique, macabre project. Not only will the theme and concept of the film having you throwing your money at the screen, but you’ll also be drooling over the perks offered. This is not your usual campaign. So take a look and support underground horror!
Tearful Surrender focuses on the character of the immortal Sea Siren–an empowered mate-hungry mitigator of death–and her trials, lovers, murderous ventures with her deviant accomplices, and the corruption of the innocent. The tale is inspired by the Jupiter Effect and delves heavily into superstition, mystery, desire, death, and the unknown.
Much of Tearful Surrender is already cast with such underground talent as Morrigan Hel (Self Induced Nightmares, Serial Kaller), Eileen Daly (Razor Blade Smile, Pervirella), and other cult talent such as Sophia Disgrace (Spidarlings, Rock Band Vs Vampires), Zara DuRose, Sarah Tonin, Morganna Bramah (Lady of the Dark: Genesis of the Serpent Vampire), Nathan Head (Theatre of Fear, The Toymaker, Hellriser), Joseph Stacey, Shelley Krasnowski, Nick Cornwall, Chris Lines, Lindy Pieri, Kerry Sirrell, and Cassandra Sechler (Elliot, Dolly Deadly, Wireboy), with more talent TBA!
Upon a successful campaign, production for Tearful Surrender is set to begin in the fall of 2018 and continue through the summer/fall of 2019.
