Could one of horror’s most beloved cult TV series be clawing its way back from the dead?
Rumors are swirling that The B Stream may be making a serious push to revive FEARnet’s fan-favorite sitcom Holliston for a long-awaited third season — and horror fans are starting to take notice.
The growing buzz seems to center around The B Stream founder and COO Brad Lyon and horror fanatic influencer Randy Stover, who has amassed more than 1 million followers across social media. Together, they appear to be turning up the volume on fan demand and putting Holliston back into the conversation in a big way.
Stover has been dropping some very suspicious hints online, including posts like:
“What’s a show that was canceled way too soon and you’d like to see revived?”
That question alone has already sparked 200+ replies, with fans throwing out guesses and fueling speculation.
Then came the not-so-subtle follow-up:
“Do you remember that Holliston TV show?”
That was enough to send horror fans into full detective mode.
At the same time, Brad Lyon has reportedly been going directly to the fans across social media, asking if viewers would want to see Holliston brought to The B Stream. In one interaction, Lyon joked:
“I think I’ve heard of it once or twice. lol — I saw all the episodes!”
That kind of answer doesn’t exactly cool down the rumors.
The B Stream Wants Blood in the Fight for Horror Fans
For those unfamiliar, The B Stream is a streaming platform built for adults and dedicated to B-movies, horror gems, cult classics, and the kind of edgy, hard-to-find content mainstream services usually leave behind. The platform is currently available on Apple, Android, and Roku TV/devices, and it continues to build a reputation as a home for offbeat genre entertainment.
But if the Holliston rumors are true, this could be one of its biggest plays yet.
Could There Be a Battle for the Rights?
In an even wilder twist, word is that Screambox may also be interested in acquiring the show — setting up what could become a full-on horror streaming showdown.
And in true B-movie fashion, talk has even surfaced that Brad Lyon would be willing to throw down in a literal fight for the rights.
According to an inside conversation, Lyon reportedly said:
“I have no issue with that. I don’t think it’s that fair of a fight. Someone would reasonably call me out on that.”
Then he went even further, saying:
“Me, I’m formally one of the greatest fighters on the entire planet.”
He continued by boasting:
“I am a world bronze medalist, an undefeated mixed martial artist, who headlined CCF, and has defeated some of the most legendary people on the planet.”
And just when it couldn’t get any crazier, Lyon added:
“Here I’m calling out some dude, he’s just some random executive of a streaming service.”
Then came the finishing move:
“I could like, threaten to fight Screambox, they could hire the current heavyweight champion of the world or like Brock Lesnar or someone. Then technically it could be a fair fight.”
And with one final jab, he joked:
“Technically both of us are old, so that would be reasonable.”
In all Transpareceny… and Seriousness
In all transperancy ScreamBox is looking to aquire the show also to add to their lineup, but there are rumors Brad Lyon would be interested in a boxing match against their CEO for the rights.
During a weekly marketing meeting, a source close to the matter said, that one of Brad Lyon’s assistants hyped things up by saying, “Come on — you’re a fighter. You’ve battled some of the biggest dudes on the planet. Call out Screambox to a boxing match, and let the winner walk away with Holliston!” Brad replied nonchalantly, “I have no issue with that. I don’t think it’s that fair of a fight. Someone would reasonably call me out on that.”
Why Fans Actually Have a Reason to Hope
One of the biggest weapons in The B Stream’s arsenal is The Hive, the platform’s built-in social media network where subscribers can interact, post, and request movies or TV shows they want added to the service.
So if fans truly want Holliston, there is a real mechanism to make that demand heard.
And that is what makes this story more than just another internet rumor.
The B Stream has built itself as more than a streaming service — it is positioning itself as a community-driven hub for fans of horror, cult cinema, sci-fi, comedy, and other under-the-radar genre content. If enough subscribers rally behind something, Brad Lyon appears more than willing to chase it.
So… Is Holliston Really Coming Back?
Right now, nothing is officially confirmed.
But the hints are there.
The fan conversation is growing.
The right people are talking.
And horror fans suddenly have a reason to believe that Holliston might not be dead after all.
Could The B Stream be the platform that finally brings it back for Season 3?
At this point, all we can say is this:
Something is brewing.
And if the horror community gets loud enough, this may go from rumor… to resurrection.
