BLACK MANDALA UNLEASHES
A CHILLING NEW SUPERNATURAL HORROR FROM AUSTRALIA
Some places never forget.
Some secrets refuse to stay buried.BLACK MANDALA is proud to present HAUNTED, a chilling psychological and supernatural horror film directed by Myles McEwen and Ripley Stevens (Nightfall).
Set against the eerie backdrop of an isolated Australian coastal town, HAUNTED plunges audiences into a disturbing mystery of unexplained disappearances, terrifying apparitions, and a sinister presence connected to a tragedy that should have remained buried.
Blending atmospheric supernatural horror with unsettling imagery and an escalating sense of dread, the film transforms an ordinary seaside community into a waking nightmare. As the boundary between reality and the supernatural begins to collapse, long-forgotten secrets return to haunt those who thought they had escaped them.
October 19, 2003. A violent storm strikes the remote Australian town of One Season. That night, a mysterious incident involving a group of teenagers on the beach leaves the community forever changed. Four years later, teenagers begin to disappear, and something sinister appears to be stirring beneath the town’s quiet surface. Sol, a reclusive man haunted by fragmented memories and disturbing visions, is forced out of isolation when his home faces demolition.
But as an increasingly terrifying supernatural presence begins to stalk him, he discovers that the disappearances may be connected to the horrifying events of that stormy night. As the past comes back to life, Sol must uncover the truth behind the town’s darkest secret before the nightmare consumes him completely.
With its haunting coastal locations, ominous atmosphere, and disturbing supernatural imagery, HAUNTED delivers a slow-burning descent into terror, where the greatest danger may be something that has been waiting in the darkness for years.
HAUNTED is represented internationally by BLACK MANDALA.
