Currently in production and targeting a late 2028 release, Space Goblins is a full-length feature film inspired by the cult classic animated short of the same name. The late-2028 target represents a soft deadline, allowing the project to evolve organically without compromising its creative ambition. The film draws tonal inspiration from hard-edged sci-fi landmarks such as RoboCop and Dredd – films where satire, violence, and uncompromising world-building collide. Set in a lawless sci-fi wasteland, Space Goblins follows two goblin brothers – bounty hunters scraping by on the margins of civilization – whose latest job pulls them into a conflict far larger than themselves. The original animated Space Goblins short received critical acclaim on the genre circuit, including coverage from Film Threat, helping establish the property’s cult following and paving the way for its expansion into a feature-length film.
