Breaking Glass Pictures Acquires International and Worldwide Distribution Rights for A Wu-Tang Experience: Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Breaking Glass Pictures has secured the international distribution rights to The Wu-Tang Experience, a powerful and dynamic music concert documentary directed by RZA and Gerald K. Barclay. The deal was negotiated by Rich Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass Pictures, and Gerald K. Barclay of Gee-Bee Productions. The 87-minute film captures the legendary Wu-Tang Clan’s unforgettable August 13, 2021, performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, backed by the 60-piece Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Over 10,000 fans witnessed this historic concert, which seamlessly blended hip-hop and classical music, creating an electrifying experience that celebrates Wu-Tang Clan’s pioneering legacy in music.
The documentary features appearances by Wu-Tang Clan legends U-God, Method Man, Cappadonna, Raekwon, RZA, and Gerald Barclay. The Wu-Tang Experience offers an unprecedented and immersive look at one of hip-hop’s most celebrated acts performing on one of the world’s most iconic stages.
Special screenings, including a prestigious event at Lincoln Center, have showcased the documentary’s cultural significance. During the performance, Wu-Tang Clan delivered iconic tracks from their discography, including “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Protect Ya Neck,” alongside a live score screening of the classic martial arts film The 36th Chamber of Shaolin.

Before Breaking Glass Pictures’ acquisition, the film was licensed to PBS and first aired in November 2024.
