How many times do I have to say that I think short horror holds the key to the future of the genre? Its short films like ‘Blind Ben Says’ that hint at a larger story that really peaks the adience’s curiosity. Children’s games are both innocent and sometimes frightening in their origins. ‘Blind Ben Says’ captures that eerie quality of unease and manages to expand upon it. It is both strangely Victorian and modern at the same time, again, hinting at themes unseen. Although this little shocker only clocks in at a little over two minutes it packs a hefty punch.
