We don’t see as many kickstarter’s hit our desks like we used to, which is too bad as there are are lot of projects out there that need funding. In fact, there are a lot of projects out there that just won’t see the light of day at all without our funding. Viral Films UK is looking to bring action werewolf short “Werehouse” our way but they definitely need as many horror fans as possible on board….check out the words direct from teh creators below:

“Our aim at Viral Films UK is to create Low Budget, High Concept films with a focus on great story-telling. Straight off the heels of “For Her…” A film which subverted audience expectations and achieved favorable reviews, we wanted to do something that felt very different and maybe unexpected.

“The concept of ‘Werehouse l really came from the play on words first rather than us saying ‘Let’s do a werewolf film next!’ It was born very organically and the flow of ideas were very natural and all that came from just having a title in mind.” – Daniel Mark Young (Director/Producer)

werehouse-posterSYNOPSIS

When a peaceful protest erupts into a full-blown riot, a trio of University Students who are caught in the middle seek refuge in a warehouse. Little do they realise that tonight is the one night of the month they really should’ve stayed out.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

Lucy (21) is a determined, headstrong, intelligent and politically savvy. Her natural instinct in any situation is to take charge, and she has a very no-nonsense approach to dealing with challenges. Although she can be confrontational, she’s a strict pacifist. She believes it’s better to be heard than to strike out, but will not hesitate to defend herself in a life-or-death scenario.

Connie (21) is a hardworking, smart, but socially awkward. A bit of a wallflower; she is easily led by her very domineering best friend, Lucy. She tends to notice things others miss. Often she needs to be the voice of reason in difficult situations, and always tries to lighten the mood with humour. She starts off the film injured, and therefor relies on the rest of the group to help her through the events that transpire.

Gaz (21) Always willing to go the extra mile to impress, Gaz gets carried away easily. He tries to hide his insecurities with bravado, but doesn’t fool many people. His heart is in the right place, he just tries too hard to get people to like him. Feeling partially responsible for escalating violence during the protest (and getting Connie hurt) he leads our characters to the safety of his father’s Warehouse.
