The story follows Odette, a therapist who survived a brutal massacre twenty years ago when her family was butchered at her very own birthday party. The killer escaped clean and has taunted her with letters ever since. Today, Odette treats the highly unstable patients other asylums won’t touch. Among them is X-Cranio, a bitter brain in a jar with a grudge who knows exactly who slaughtered her family: someone Odette sees every single day. As the therapist closes in on the truth, she realizes the monster who has haunted her for two decades is hiding in plain sight, right in front of her.
