“Horror Dadz Productions announces Website Launch, Upcoming Films”

The crew behind Horror Dadz Productions is happy to announce two films in pre-production and the launch of their new website.

Founded in 2022, Horror Dadz Productions, currently operated by producers Dillon Brown, Joshua Brucker, Hunter Nino, and Michael Rock, is a new horror production house specializing in low-budget, quality films for genre fans. They are the team behind a batch of found footage horror films such as The Flock, Mothman, Tahoe Joe, and Ghost.

Their website (https://horrordadzproductions.com/) features the films released under the company banner, including those awaiting release and those in pre-production. Pertinent links are also provided on the website to help fans find ways to watch films already released.

Releasing next month, from writer and director Joshua Brucker, The Woodmen will be the next feature released, starring Anna Clary, Dan Grogan, Hunter Nino, and L.C. Holt. The Woodmen follows three individuals who find themselves in a fight for their lives as they attempt to escape from a clan of feral humans that call the Great Smoky Mountains home. Together, they battle this cunning and elusive adversary that wants nothing more than to protect their land with deadly and savage force. More information on The Woodmen can be found here (https://thewoodmenfilm.com/).

Releasing in late December, Split Screen is a found footage horror double feature, including two films: Grey’s, directed by Dillon Brown; and The Illinois Valley Murder Tapes, directed by Joshua Brucker. The film will also feature a wrap-around segment starring Thomas Burke.

Stepping back into familiar territory, Dillon Brown is in pre-production for the sequel to his popular film, Tahoe Joe. Tahoe Joe 2: Bigfoot Conspiracy begins filming early next year. Brown had this to say, “I’m excited to jump back into the world of Bigfoot and continue my ‘Tahoe Joe’ story – and I’m really excited to be playing with a bit more money this time around so we could upgrade our creature suit to something really special. I absolutely love monster films and getting to work with a fully practical Sasquatch with my buddies out in the snow is a dream come true.” The film is slated for release next summer.

The Woodmen is also getting a follow-up film. Joshua Brucker is developing a sequel with the plot currently under wraps. “I knew, while filming The Woodmen, I wanted to return to this particular story. The characters were fascinating and The Woodmen is very much a monster film. What happened to the survivors? What is really going on in the Smoky Mountains? I will explore all of that,” Brucker explained. The Woodmen: Part II is set to begin filming in the fall of 2024.

Fans will also see some connective tissue between various Horror Dadz Productions films. The Cryptiverse, a shared universe between Dillon Brown and Joshua Brucker, creating a larger story. Starting with Mothman and Tahoe Joe, the shared universe continues on with The Woodmen, Tahoe Joe 2, and The Woodmen: Part II. Future plans are in place for the grand conclusion, but be on the look-out for connected material.
