After selling over 600,000 copies and earning 13,000+ Steam reviews with a 91% Very Positive rating during Early Access, Yet Another Zombie Survivors is leaving Early Access on August 20. The 1.0 launch arrives simultaneously on Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, with the Nintendo Switch version following shortly after.
Version 1.0 is the game’s biggest update yet, introducing some features rarely seen in the genre, including main story and side missions, a HUB area, a brand-new Survivor, a new map, a new game mode, arena bosses, plus plenty of new achievements, challenges, and more.

Awesome Games Studio, the dedicated developer behind this community-driven title, has one more surprise for players. To celebrate the Yet Another Zombie Survivors release date reveal, the studio is making its predecessor, Yet Another Zombie Defense HD, free to keep on Steam. Set in the same universe, it’s available to claim between July 23 (from 10AM PT / 7PM CEST) and July 30 – and once you add it to your Steam library, it’s yours forever.
