Scareplex Premieres Director’s Cut of Human Hibachi and new Docuseries Encounters Friday, August 25th
Indie Genre Streaming Platform Scareplex is flexing its muscles this week with two hot premieres exclusive to the network.The platform will be premiering an exclusive Director’s Cut of director Mario Cerrito’s celebrated found footage film Human Hibachi as well as the first season of Bill Howard’s new docuseries Encounters this Thursday/Friday at midnight CST.Human Hibachi, summarized as, “a man documents his girlfriend’s 35th birthday on his phone. What he captures throughout the night are the most disturbing human acts imaginable,” is a multiple award winner and has gone on to spur an entire franchise from Director Cerrito including a sequel to the first film and a new prequel that is currently making the rounds on the festival circuit.Bill Howard’s Encounters is a new docuseries detailing conversations with alien abductees and their experiences. Howard is also responsible for 2023’s Something Walks in the Woods and has already promised that Encounters will be seeing a season 2, to be released shortly.

Scareplex is also the official home for Paranormal series Monster Vision TV, the paranormal video podcast Shadow Initiative and celebrated horror podcast Zompire Horde.

Scareplex is currently accepting submissions and is seeking out feature films, short films, series and podcasts.
