Well, it’s official. Ridley Scott’s return to the xenomorph universe (official this time as Prometheus was his red herring, if you remember correctly) has been bumped up to an earlier release date. In a world where movies that get moved to later dates usually mean a reworking of the material or a lack of confidence in the end product, the opposite could spell good tidings for facehugger fans, indeed. Alien: Covenant rams its ovum depositor down your throat May 19 now, bumped up from its previous date of August 4th, 2017.
