Usually this would fall outside of our wheelhouse, but there is just something about this trailer that reminds me of when I used to get super excited about films when I was a kid. To put this into context, I was so excited about the release of the film ‘Gremlins’ that I obsessively listened to our local radio station so that I record the radio spots they were playing prior to the film’s release. This has that early days of Amblin look and feel to it, and that’s a pretty great thing. ‘My Pet Dinosaur’, slated for a March 2017 release in its native Australia is yet to find its US theatrical dates.
