Black Vortex Cinema will celebrate the release of two new books of autobiographical essays by over 100 horror creators entitled My Favorite Horror Movie 2: The New Blood and My Favorite Horror Movie 3: Scream Warriors with the My Favorite Horror Movie Mini Con, taking place at the Van Nuys Elks Lodge in Los Angeles on November 9, 2019.

Over 90 horror legends and luminaries will be in attendance to sign all three My Favorite Horror Movie books, and celebrate their beloved genre with panels, DJs, giveaways, food, vendors, and a full bar!

The event is free with purchase of any of the three books, currently sold exclusively at myfavoritehorrormovie.com.  A limited number of books will also be available at the door. If someone is unable to attend, the shipping of signed books is also available.

The list of The New Blood and Scream Warriors contributors is on the website, along with an up-to-the-minute listing of signees attending the November 9th event!

About the books:

Edited by filmmaker Christian Ackerman (Portal/Deadly Reunion), the first My Favorite Horror Movie went on to become a #1 Amazon Bestseller for several weeks in 2018. To assist in editing and curating the next two installments My Favorite Horror Movie 2: The New Blood and My Favorite Horror Movie 3: Scream Warriors, Ackerman secured the help of horror legend Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp/Victor Crowley) and writer Chuck Foster (Film Threat/The Summoners), to bring the world 100 new essays by horror filmmakers, actors, writers, directors, painters, musicians, journalists and film festival directors about the film that drove their passion for horror and helped shaped their lives.
