If you are in the Springfield, IL area this Saturday, December 6th make your way out to Monster Tattoos in Chatham, IL for their annual Steampunk Holiday Spectacle.
From their facebook page:
“On Saturday, December 6th, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Rt.66 Monster Tattoos will be hosting a “Steampunk-themed” holiday art show. What this means is we will have local artists showcasing work with winter, holiday, Steampunk, Dieselpunk, or Victorian-era themes, as well asSammy Sammy Flores, Solar Cadet, Dead Zebbra, and Wanna doing live music throughout the evening. We are currently getting a couple of charity events set up Springfield-area foundations to take place as well, with local businesses in the Springfield/Chatham area as sponsors. We encourage participants to dress up (Hey! Who doesn’t like second Halloween) but it is not necessary. Appetizers supplied by WhynotPizza WhatnotCollectibles and a wine-tasting bar will be available. The show is all ages, but ID is required to sample alcoholic beverages. No Cover Charge!”
