KILLER QUARTET CAST IN VITALETTI’S “THE LAST THING MARY SAW”

Stefanie Scott (Insidious: Chapter 3), Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan), Judith Roberts (You Were Never Really Here) and Rory Culkin(Scream 4, Lords of Chaos, Columbus) will star in writer-director Edoardo Vitaletti’s mythological horror feature “The Last Thing Mary Saw.”

Lensing this month in New York City, the period horror piece tells of titular character Mary (Scott), the youngest daughter of a darkly strict religious family who finds herself detained after discovering her ominously matriarchal grandmother (Roberts) dead.

Vitaletti, a New York based Italian writer and director, makes his directorial debut on the project.
Intrinsic Value’s Aimee Schoof and Isen Robbins produces alongside Harrison Allen and Madeleine Schumacher’s Arachnid Films. Stephen Tedeschi also produces. Scoop Wasserstein is an executive producer.

Scott is represented by Gersh and Medavoy, Fuhrman by UTA and Gang Tyre, Roberts by Leading Artists. Culkin by Paradigm and Brookside Artist Management.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: Winter, 1843. A darkly strict religious family inhabits an isolated farmhouse. One ill-omened morning, Mary, the youngest daughter, discovers her Grandmother – Constance – dead, covered in blood. A day like any other turns into a day of murder and mourning. Thirty-six hours later, Mary sits in a grim detention room, her clothes stained in blood, and her eyes covered with a black cloth. The town’s constable dives into her past, unearthing horrors forgotten for Millennia: what happened at the farm during the Grandmother’s funeral?
