7 years in the making, Horror-Fix announced the launch of their horror board game Horror Boards today on Kickstarter. The game, which puts some of horror’s most iconic characters against each other in a battle for the highest body count, blends traditional board games with deck-building card games and RPGs, delivering an experience that many fans have called “the closest thing to actually living a horror movie through a game”.
One of the most exciting elements of the launch is Horror Boards brand new magnetic based combat system which allows players to track their progress and battles on the very pawns themselves that they use to play the game. The kickstarter runs through November 15th and is looking to meet a goal of 18K which could allow the developers to begin manufacturing the games almost immediately.
