Maiara Walsh, who is starring in the upcoming movie Summer Camp by the REC filmmakers, has strapped in with iconic actors Tony Todd Candyman/Final Destination and Danny Trejo Machete/Con Air in the high-octane action/horror/thriller VANish. The film is helmed by first time writer/director Bryan Bockbrader who also appears in the movie. Rounding out the cast are newcomers Austin Abke and Adam Guthrie in pivotal roles.
VANish is about a kidnapped woman forced on a road trip full of murder and mayhem which takes place entirely inside her captor’s getaway van.
A quote from the writer/director explaining his unique premise: “I had this idea of doing a road movie from the perspective of inside the vehicle, giving the viewer a chance to ride along as a passenger. As the tension builds, we are trapped in this intimate place with extremely dangerous people and when the shit hits the fan (or van) there’s no escaping the chaos.”

VANish is produced by Grizly Films, a new production company that has a focus on the action/horror genre. The film has wrapped production and more updates will be coming soon.
