Abyssmal Entertainment is proud to announce that it’s latest supernatural female driven horror short ELIXIR, will have it’s World Premiere at the Worldwide Women’s Film Festival on February 9th in Scottsdale, AZ.
Elixir is the terrifying story of a woman, who while being abused by her housebound ward and unable to escape on her own, asks God for help. When mysterious man appears offering to save her, will his thoughts and prayers free her? Or will they destroy them both?
The black and white short was written and directed by Virginia Powers Hendry (Pavle the Boy) and stars genre legend Dee Wallace (E.T., The Howling, Cujo, Critters), Gabrielle Stone (Zombie Killers, Speak No Evil) and Austin Brook (A Hero For a Day, Project Child: Origins). It was produced by Steven Shea (Crib, 2:22, Rockabilly Zombie Weekend).
The Worldwide Women’s Film Festival educates, supports, and empowers women in the collaborative endeavor of filmmaking while we shine a light on women’s stories and diverse experiences. It runs February 8 – 10th at the Harkins Theater in Scottsdale, Arizona.
