He has promoted the Las Vegas show since it arrived on the Strip in June of 2011 through his website and via Twitter posts. This marks the first time he has made a public appearance at any of the production’s performances or events.
Prior to stepping out onto the stage to help emcee the show, Bruce gave a pep talk to the cast of the show, including the the nugget of wisdom “Don’t be boring”. He gave pointers to each of the cast members and extolled the virtues of keeping the audience engaged before everyone broke to go to their positions for the show to begin.

The Las Vegas production was invited to be a part of the festivities and present its full length, uncensored, uncut Las Vegas production on Friday and Saturday nights. The performance on 9/6 was the final official event of the 2014 convention, and culminated in over 20 gallons of blood spraying over fans and actors alike.
Sirc Michaels emceed the show. Mid-way through his opening speech he introduced Bruce Campbell, who took over the opening and proceeded to host a mini-panel on his thoughts about EVIL DEAD and EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL. The reaction from the crowd in the intimate venue was explosive, with many of them cheering and screaming throughout his speech.
Bruce and the EVIL DEAD team also took some time to do a photo shoot while at the convention.
