I have always loved the idea of a “horror jeopardy”. Being a long-time genre enthusiast I have even wondered if I have the mettle to stand up against some of the most well known horror historians in the business. Maybe we won’t have the answer to that particular question, BUT we can certainly see some of horror’s best and brightest vie for the title of horror’s top know-it-all.
Hosted by genre enthusiast Peter Hopkins, the Quiz on Haunted Hill takes four contestants renowned for the horror knowledge and pits them against each other in a horror trivia battle royale. With several episodes still left to air:
- Horror Hostess Special 2 Quiz: Friday 5th June 2020 at 9pm (British Summer Time)
- Horror Host Special Quiz: Friday 12th June 2020 at 9pm (British Summer Time)
The show has also promised a “Horror Host Special” for Friday June 12th featuring David Black (a.k.a. Count Funghoula), Frank Ailsworth (a.k.a. Lord Blood-Rah), James Currie (a.k.a. Al Omega) and Scott Paulson (a.k.a. Keymaster Slasher Poe).
