The disturbing documentary film within a film marks the feature debut of the co-writer and co-director pair Paul Gandersman and Peter Hall.
Starring Kelsey Pribilski (“Landman,” Rondo and Bob) and William Magnuson (“SKAM Austin,” Inbetween Girl), the acclaimed horror film previously bowed to critical acclaim and circuited a tour of film festivals in 2025 including a world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival and as official selections in the Sitges International Film Festival as well as Beyond Fest and others.
Set in the fictitious rural small town of Larkin, Texas, Man Finds Tape will entrap audiences into the skin-crawling unraveling of local secrets by way of family home videos murked in supernatural phenomena. Executed by horror authors Gandersoman and Hall, the former a documentary producer, the nightmarish film follows two siblings as they spiral into a murder investigation that is uniquely challenged by the modern reality of viral YouTube discoveries, elevating the found-footage genre into a mirror of an engrossing digital age.

Synopsis
Lucas Page’s (William Magnuson) viral YouTube channel “Man Finds Tape” features a series of creepy home videos. When he reaches out to his sister, Lynn (Kelsey Pribilski), with surveillance footage of a murder in their hometown, she reluctantly returns to help him investigate the homicide. In doing so, Lynn uncovers a disturbing secret tied to a decades-old supernatural phenomena that casts doubt on whether anyone in town can be trusted. The arrival of a stranger (Brian Villalobos) with destructive intentions forces Lynn to confront her family’s role in a terrifying legend tied to a deadly monster stalking Larkin, TX.
