The complete 31 day Horror fix movie challenge
A new October tradition with one horror movie for every letter followed by five numbered nights.
By Rory Jackson
Every October, horror fans make the same promise: this is the year we watch something every night. Then October 4 arrives, nobody can agree on a movie and half the group watches Halloween again. There are worse fates, but Horror-fix can do better.
The ABCs and 123s of Halloween turns indecision into a game. Nights one through twenty-six run from A to Z. The final five nights belong to 1 through 5, giving us exactly thirty-one movies for thirty-one nights. We chose one featured movie for every slot, then loaded each night with six Horror-fix alternatives. Seen the main selection? Hate it? Watching with kids, gorehounds or the friend who claims nothing scares him? Pick a backup and keep moving.
This is not a sacred ranking. It is a living October tradition. Argue with our choices, post your replacements and save the unused movies for next year. The only real rule is simple: watch horror.

The last word
That is the challenge: thirty-one nights, thirty-one featured movies and enough alternatives to keep the argument alive for years. Share your completed list with Horror-fix, tell us where we screwed up and remember—if you miss a night, double features were invented for a reason.
Which featured pick would you replace—and what movie gets the slot?
