From the age of 3 when grandpa let me watch poltergeist, my love of horror was born. Imagine being hassled by your 4 year old to get home because you’re going to miss V. Well, that how serious I take my horror. From 6 grade girls calling their mommy’s to go home from my bday party because “Serpent and the Rainbow” was just too much, to the clerks at the video stores who likely rented 8 year old me those R horror movies with no slack, because they probably thought something was wrong with me. The history of horror runs deep in my veins. My dream job was to create special fx for horror movies and attend Tom Savini’s school. Life didn’t play out that way so now I’m gonna review some horror movies as a mid life chance to get involved somehow.
